New Mayflower restaurant has always been a reliable choice for authentic Cantonese food although they also devote a page to the northern Chinese cuisine too. Don't be fooled by how small it looks and the lack of oriental diners in there and they tend to be seated at the basement where the larger tables are.

Have not been here for quite a while, well not since it changed its name to New Mayflower. Used to come here often after clubbing as it is opened until 4am.

We ended up here last night looking for a light supper, after Young Cheung has changed to Pho & Bun! So New Mayflower being one door away was the one, saving us a walk elsewhere.

Our waiter was so entertaining, and we barely waited for our food to arrive. It's often hard to find a place in china town - as there's a lot of choice and not always good quality food. I'd definitely come here again!

Decor isn't anything special but food tasted pretty fresh and everything was quite affordable!more
