4/4.5 stars. Best meal we've had in the 2 days we've been in London. Our family ordered -fish & chips, sausages & mash, burger, salad with salmon. Everything was devoured. Good beers; friendly service and cozy seating area. Nice to stumble upon it on the quiet street when other places were packed.more

Veddy, veddy good English pub w/ excellent English food. Sunday afternoon roasts are a treat and offered lamb, beef, pork, and chicken when we were there. Duck and lamb shanks are also good, and the fish (haddock) and chips served here is among the best I've ever had. Service was friendly and efficient, and patrons very chatty and kind. Smallish intimate dining affair - I guess - as relatively empty restaurant and most guests seated next to each other. Waitress far from friendly in my opinion.
