The brunch menu at this place is excellent and beautifully presented. With a cozy atmosphere that would be perfect for meeting with friends or hanging out by oneself to read a book, I am a super advocate for Leyas!more
Thankfully amongst the chain coffee shops that line Camden High Street there's definitely some quality independent coffee shops peeking through. I'm not a chain snob (although I have to say that I do prefer independent businesses) but I sadly can't say that I have ever had a good coffee at the likes of Pret, Cafe Nero, Costa etc before. Think hip cool cafe and you'll likely have been to a cafe just like Leyas plenty of times before. It's got your relaxing vibe, pretty good coffee, matcha lattes and an appetising selection of cakes to eat.
We tried the coffee here and were pleased with it, while nothing spectacular it still has a good flavour to it. We had a muffin too which was actually really good, as in, good enough that...more
I came here for a quick coffee and cake break. I was impressed with the coffee! Had a lovely little latte. It was quite little, but the coffee flavour was strong and great. Also had a cinnamon apple muffin which was scrummy!
The lady serving us didn't seem very friendly at first, but after I relentlessly grinned at her she got more smiley which was nice =] Cute coffee spot!more
Breakfast of smashed avocado on toast which I have been replicating for days afterwards, and they have a mushroom option as well. The coffee is a bit more coffee than I prefer - very dark and rich so perfect for some but a bit overpowering for me. But, they do have almond milk so for those of us non-milk people, it's not just the default soy option which I really appreciate.
Salads at lunch...more
