Carew Manor

Overview

The late medieval Great Hall of Carew Manor, with its arch-braced hammerbeam roof, listed Grade I, is open on select days together with the adjacent 18thC Dovecote (a scheduled Ancient Monument), which contains c.1300 nesting boxes and a revolving circular ladder or 'potence'. Publications and Souvenirs are on sale in the Dovecote. Tours include the cellars.
