I am Chinese and have eaten Chinese food all my life. This Is the 2nd most horrid Chinese meal I have ever had, behind a deserted town in Norway.

I ordered a crispy noodle dish and it tasted like they just dumped some bland broth with tons of cornstarch on it. The least they could have done was put some soy sauce on this dish. The tofu dish we ordered also was just bland and horrible.

This was factory feeding at its worst. So many others to choose from....more

Walking past Haozhan today, a large sign caught my eye.Yup, they're re-inventing themselves again. Located on the main Chinatown drag of Gerrard Street, they offer high class inventive Chinese cuisine in the Hakkasan style but also with the attendant Hakkasan prices, with the result that it was a 'treat restaurant'

Thye've brought out a cheaper lunch menu in the hope of tapping into more...more
