Good location with some outdoor seating and cold beer along the Thames. If it's a nice day in the London area and you feel like getting out this pub is an easy walk from others.more

An ok pub by the river. Drinks were served in plastic cups instead of glass, which gave it a student feel. They did have an interesting raspberry cider.

At the bar, we weren't asked if we needed anything, we had to specifically ask to be served.more

A great little pub to come to along the Thames. There are only a few pubs along the Hammersmith section of the river and this is one of them, sitting directly next to the Blue Anchor. This means that seating is very limited as the benches for the two pubs mingle together, especially in peak periods. Easily the least impressive of all the local riverfront pubs. The fact that it's part of the Taylor-Walker chain certainly doesn't help, as that group seems to be making a concerned effort to make what were already generic, soul-less pubs even more generic and soul-less.

That's not to say it's a bad pub. It has far more outdoor seating than either the Blue Anchor next door or The Dove down...more
