Maybe I should have given it 4 stars but it was quite good.
It was a laid back friendly pub. I had drinks and ordered a Fish & Chips. No complaints. The staff was friendly, the drinks were good and the food was above average.
I would return..more
Went there for a Sunday roast on a sunny day. What a nice place to go!
I ordered a Mixed roast which was really tasty and they also have a great selection of bottles of beer.
The place itself is not noisy and was nice to stay here after lunch to enjoy the sun coming from outside.
I had a Kwak beer (I know it's strong but I love strong Belgian beers) and my friend had a coke.
I popped in here for a glass of wine before dinner around 6:30 on a very nice day. It is quaint, great service and to my surprise was not obnoxiously packed.
There is a decent amount of seating room here and a nice crowd- definitely not a dive or old pub.more
Fantastic British pub! We came here during the early evening and the place was bumping! Everyone had obviously just left work and had grabbed a table early, however, we didn't mind standing at the bar and conversing with the locals.
I wish we could have tried the food! The menu looked stellar and prices were affordable.more
