Newly-opened cafe down Tulse Hill, within striking distance of Brockwell Park.

Sandwiches are cheap and nice - crusty, fluffy grilled bread with free-range chicken, bacon, and avocado and a little iceberg: £3.50. You can't beat it.

Staff are nice in a very un-English way, though that's not to detract.

A list of hot mains makes this a potential evening spot for a spare but filling meal.
