I wouldn't have chosen to come in here. Empty, and situated in a too-new, fake-industrial glass house it just didn't look like my kind of place. Turns out I'm an utter snob. Hungry Donkey was really nice.
The individual mezze are a step up from the Real Greek, and 2-3 per person should do you fine. We got mezze plus wraps and it was too much food and the wraps weren't wonderful. I wouldn't...more
I came here for a light lunch. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly. A lot of people who work around the area seemed to be present.
I ordered the spanakopita and the Greek sausage. The spanakopita was lovely however the sausage was on the undercooked side.
I also had a frappe which was too frothy for my likely however sill drinkable.
Overall good Greek food for reasonable prices.more

Really tasty and well presented Greek food in a modern casual setting. The starters were lovely... We really enjoyed the warm beetroot salad and also the cheese balls. Main was grilled lamb, chips and salad. For desert am orange cake with buffalo ice cream.
Interesting Greek wines and beers also.more
Not only is the food at Hungry Donkey delightful and filling, but the atmosphere has a great welcoming vibe. Being Greek, I'm an expert at Greek food.... and the food here (especially the "xtipiti" (whipped cheese) and the fried zucchini.. well, it's as good as grandma's.. two thumbs up! I'd fly back to London for more.more
