Good draft beer and pizza. The issue here is the service. How can they have so many people and be so inattentive? It was lightly occupied when I was there also, so that's not it. But they were polite once they did take notice and get with it eventually.more
Slightly better food than your usual gastro-pub but less atmosphere and twice the price. Wouldn't return for a second visit.more
This is a lovely place and now they have opened the back into a secret garden, it's great for dining outside. You need to come on a deal as prices are fairly pricey. I did not dine on this occasion, just came for drinks. Their house white is actually quite nice at £20 a bottle.

I love this building! Its beautiful both inside and out (ah I'm sure somebody said that about me once, perhaps). The bar area is great to have a more relaxed meal and drinks in (the burger is recommended). While our main waiter was perfectly pleasant, he was basically absent. It took an hour to be able to order (having taken 30 minutes for the cocktail menu to appear and we were the only one's in the restaurant at that time) and then another 45 mins to pay the bill - we finally went up and asked.
