I love Cirilo's! My boyfriend used to live round the corner from here and we came here so much that we regularly spoke to the owner, I almost cried when he moved. If you live or work near to Cable Street I really envy you!

I haven't had much experience of Filipino food but eating at Cirilo's has made me a fan. My favourite is the Kare Kare which is steak cooked in a peanut and anchovy sauce. My initial reaction was one of avoidance but the owner persuaded me to try it and now I have to order it every time. They do a great Singapore Noodles and their Seafood Mami is perfect for autumnal evenings.

The staff at Cirio's are really nice--every time I've been there I've asked for suggestions and ended up with something pretty good. Had a nice little chat recently with a woman that was working there from the Philippines.
