Italian restaurant chain Zizzi opened the doors of its very first branch in London's Chiswick in 1999. Now there are over 100 branches, all decorated in an appealing contemporary style. Wood-fired ovens, open kitchens and modern interior design with locally influenced art features make for a vibrant atmosphere. As for the food, they serve up a variety of traditional Italian dishes including all the usual suspects: salads, antipasti, pasta, pizza, calzone, risotto as well as fish and meat mains and desserts. What Zizzi really pride themselves on is sourcing good quality ingredients; salads are dressed with white balsamic vinegar from Modena, for example, and offer Goddess Olives, a variety known for their firm flesh and nutty flavour. The modestly priced wine list is dominated by Italian wines, starting at £13.45 for a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Chislehurt Lake forms the backdrop to this branch of Zizzi, allowing customers beautiful views while they dine.

Really nice, like all other zizzis. The layout of the restaurant is good and has a lot of room. Service always goodmore
I went here with a 2 for 1 voucher, so it was always going to be a good deal. The restaurant was really busy when we got there so we had to wait a bit for a table. My pizza was delicious, but two of my friends got calzones and they were stone cold in the middle. We didn't like to do it, but we sent them back and when the calzones returned they were piping hot. The staff were very friendly....more
