Southside House
Overview
Southside House is built in the Dutch Baroque Restoration style and provides an enchantingly eccentric backdrop to the lives and loves of generations of the Pennington Mellor Munthe families. Maintained in traditional manner without major refurbishment, and crowded with the family possessions of centuries, Southside offers a wealth of fascinating family stories with much of the original furniture and a superb collection of art and historical objects. The gardens covering just under two acres are as fascinating as the house.
