Landseer British Kitchen

Oak panelling, stone pillars and handsome tables with leather chairs and banquettes, give the Landseer Restaurant and Bar a members' club air that feels both retro and very modern. The honest ingredients and lightness of touch evident in every dish created by Head Chef Paul O'Brien lend a contemporary twist to the space, and have created a reputation for the Landseer as a destination in its own right. The bar is a wood-panelled gem, with a fine cocktail list and some rare and expertly chosen wines, beers and spirits.

The cod fish we got tonight is perfectly light flavor that great for the seafood dish but the Vegi risotto is a bit too light that we need to add the salt and pepper to make it better.

The lemon tart is delicious and the cream bulree is very creamy and nice too.more

The restaurant staff are very friendly but also polite, not allways...more

We came here during lunchtime after visiting the British museum (mainly because of the good yelp reviews...)

The ambiance is really nice, and the staff was friendly. That's pretty much it for the positive part of the review.

The service and food were excellent and i will be back though probably not to stay at the hotel.

We started off with the chilli crabcakes, a few small tit bits but soo tasty,

and smoked salmon on crackers from the bar as we perused the menu.

We decided on the 12oz Aberdeen sirloin steak and it was huge and cooked to perfection. We...more

All things equal, it's the personal touch that sets things apart.

That's why we really appreciated this handwritten note for a complimentary drink at our hotel's bar, The Landseer. (

The bartender was awesome. Friendly and entertaining he mentioned he was from Sri Lanka and...more
