Stopped by around 10:30 on a Sunday. There seemed to be plenty seating but it turned out the tables were being held for parties arriving between 11 and 12. The staff were nice and the food looked tasty. Note to self: book ahead!

Solid "independent" feeling coffee shop (aka not Starbucks, pret, Costa etc) in broadgate. Good stop on the way to or from Liverpool street station.
Macchiato was on point. Bacon breakfast wrap was full of spinach and a nice spicy sauce, but at £5 a little steep. Pastries looked good and they appeared to serve drinks later in the day. What's wit coffee shops also serving hip drinks these...more
I went to Beany Green for a meeting and really enjoyed my first experience of the place. Perusing the cake stand as I always do, I was immediately drawn to the BLOODY ENORMOUS slabs of Rocky Road - and it was amazing. Huge, tasty and filling, I definitely had to take half back to the office to eat later on. Staff were friendly and helpful with providing me a takeaway bag.
