Windsor Castle


Windsor Castle is the largest and oldest inhabited castles in the world. A Royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today. Visitors can see the magnificent State Apartments, decorated with some of the finest works of art in the Royal Collection, Queen Mary's Doll's House, the Drawings Gallery and St George's Chapel.

Royal Paintbox: Royal Artists Past and Present: 22 June 2013 – 26 January 2014

Members of the British Royal family have been inspired to paint, draw and sculpt for generations. This exhibition shows examples of their handiwork from the last 350 years, including architectural drawings, atmospheric landscapes and portraits of family members.
