Firepower - The Royal Artillery Museum
Overview
From Gibraltar to the Gulf, since 1716 the Royal Artillery has seen action worldwide. Firepower tells the story of the men and women who served the guns and the technology on which their lives depended. Located in the historic Royal Arsenal, the world's centre for munitions manufacture, secret for over 300 years and still a mysterious blank on the A-Z maps, Firepower takes you from slingshot to supergun, starting in the Field of Fire, where big screens, dramatic surround sound and moving eye-witness accounts illuminate the conflicts of the 20th Century.
