Can't really explain why I haven't tried the Market Thai before ... there's been a thai restaurant above this pub for ages, right back to when it was called the Market Bar, completely missed several years of Irishness, now it sits above Ukai. Bit weird to have two restaurants sitting above one another, but they seem to be happy neighbours.

Food was just OK but ... we were shocked being charged for 2 cup of hot water 2£.
That is appalling ! Examine your bill !!!!

Looking for noodle.soup in portobello after Japanese see moved I decided to try thai market. Before I came upstairs I was expecting classic thai food with average price and service. What a surprise waited for me upstairs!
Absolutely clean place with beautiful tables chairs and Thai feeling with thai music. After looking at man the duck soup was the no 1 for me..asked for some chilli tooo....more
Decent Thai in the Notting Hill area. Every dish is hidden under a blanket of onions, so if that's not your thing, remember to specify.
The pad thai is OK, but I much prefer the rad na / lard nar, although it's tricky to assemble after take away.
The owners are very friendly and the prices aren't too shabby.more
I think the common perception of the London food scene is that it has no true identity, aside from perhaps the abundance of Indian cuisine.
