We have found the service to be very variable (in fact, we have walked out on one occasion rather than wait any longer to be served.) But sometimes it is fine, and we like the food enough to keep coming back.
Lovely old building. Has its own car park also which is handy.

This is one of my regular haunts - since it's next door! The food is good French food, well presented. The building is lovely and part of it dates back to the 15th century. It's an old pub "The Swan" and we managed to persuade Café Rouge to keep the name so its called "Café Rouge at The Swan". They do a Prix Fixe menu which offers very good value.more
