This is one of my favourite places to browse - great range of stylish clothes and people who run the place who are really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their stock without being pushy. I got a glitzy Indian kurta that I loved but was too big (hooray for diet) altered there by efficient woman who had been costumier for Grand Magic Circus.

And they also do jive classes in the evening.more

Hmm, where am I going to find a tailor to alter my New Year's Eve dress the day before the event? And have it ready in time? AND not cost me a fortune?

Thank goodness Paper Dress Vintage does alterations. I called, and she said while she was a bit swamped, she could take me. I went over, she pinned me up, and my dress was ready to go a few hours later. And only £15!

Came here on a Saturday night, they were spinning some vintage tracks (Maybe it was Rockabilly? Not sure, still learning about this Rockabilly thing...), very relaxed crowd, reasonably priced beer flowing.

I can't speak for the clothes, but I'd be happy to come back for the partying!more
