Jar Kitchen’s seasonal menu focuses on using quality ingredients, locally sourced. The day-to-early evening restaurant will open for breakfast*, lunch and pre-theatre dinner. In keeping with Jar Kitchen’s ethos, most food and drink will be made from scratch, including the granola, yoghurt, kombucha and ginger beer. The restaurant also has plans to start smoking its own meat.

Great food in a chilled surrounding. Do a good pre theatre deal too. Chilli ginger margaritas are the best and love that mixed grain salad for lunch and the hake for dinner!more
Brought my partner to jar kitchen for brunch and i have to say i am a little disappointed with my overall experience eating there. We ordered the french toast and a plate of sourdough bread with baked beans, a poached egg and pork belly.
When the food arrived, I felt disappointed with not only the portion, but also the presentation. It is not something you would expect from a place that seem...more
Hipster, expensive and nothing fancy.
If you like porridge without any taste - actually it's pretty amazing to achieve that - and want to pay tourist prices, go for it!
One highlight: two eggs on a naked bread - I was so shocked I even forgot the price... Seven pound something. At least salt and pepper are free :)more
Jar Kitchen, Covent Garden - once upon a time when I didn't have a kitchen, had an early start to the day, hot breakfast was something I looked forward to. Headed here for brunch and my waffles were lovely enough (if mis-labelled - three blueberries do not blueberries waffles make) but feel like I need to head here for dinner to understand all the hype surrounding Jar Kitchen.
Service was nice and friendly and I loved the cosy decor - definitely a place I'll head back to for dinner or even lunch.more
