Garfunkle's is such a hit and miss kind of place. Some locations seem to run a whole lot better than others. This one is definitely on the low end of the quality scale.
The food was greasy, soggy and bland. Service was friendly but excruciatingly slow. I had to go looking for my server three times because they just didn't show up anymore. When I asked a different server for help, she just...more
I had to have my fish and chips before I left London. Garfunkel was the place we went and had a comfy late night dinner. My serving was HUGE. I could not even finish the fish and all the chips that came along with the meal. It is after all just fish and chips so I did not have high expectations.

-chicken so dry that you could tap it...more

But after flying seven hours overnight - not to mention navigating the enormous...more
I've eaten At Garfunkels before and the one near Kensington actually does a very good breakfast.
This particular outlet was absolutely terrible. Service was excrutiatingly slow.
We asked for a starter sampler platter which took 45 minutes to arrive - the onion rings in it were dripping oil, but the worst part of the dish was one of the accompanying sauces - it was named sweet chilli sauce,...more
