Good for watching sports but that's about it. Food is very mediocre and they do that infuriating thing of playing music so loud you can't have a conversation.more

We had just about everything from their starter menu as we didn't fancy ordering a big meal each. It was actually a really good way to do it, sharing various dishes between the four of us. Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of room in the garden area out back, very good food, and wide selection of beers. There's also a little library in the side with a couch, so that adds a nice touch.

my new local but no bias here.

was at the arse-end of a 4 day bender for my 30th birthday and came in for a roast. was not disappointed. great pork, crackling, was steaming hot and far from stingy.

the pub itself looks great, has a massive rear garden and some decent seating out the front to watch the world go by.

the staff were friendly, apart from one girl who was clearly overrun. oh...more
