Tucked away in Chi-town this joint was pleasantly surprising. We came after seeing a show, we were a table of two -- one vegetarian. Not too many options for the vege but I got the slow roast pork casserole like dish - sorry, don't know exact name but it was a special. We also got eggplant and dumplings and some fried lotus numbers. Came out pretty quick but it was tasty.more
This place is SO FRUSTRATING. Totally hit or miss and tonight was definitely the last straw, can't deal with their BS anymore. Check your orders - the meat or fish which is supposed to be in your dish might not actually be in it but you're still paying for it. Leong's, you've been busted for cheating your customers.

Their soup noodles tend to be a let down, lacking depth but their other dishes are okay. Their menu is pretty extensive and with a good variety of the classic Taiwanese dishes.
The decor is pretty rustic from it's old wooden columns, straw...more
Knock on the door and a waiter will lead you inside.
I had been to the second Leong's Legends years ago and always wanted to go again and I wasn't disappointed. The menu is a little inconsistent with the 'spicy' and 'vegetarian' symbols, so better read the description of the dish before relying on the symbols. We ordered veggie dumplings (mediocre), green beans with minced pork (delicious),...more
