Tried with friends for dinning, 8 course tasting menu.
The food was very nicely presented and the taste is good. But not great as the taste is too strong and the it doesn't give the wow factors since the tastes of some dishes are too strong and completely covered the other dishes flavour.
The foam is not something I like in particular... It always gives a bad feeling by looking at it...
A great place to go with friends as well as for special occasions. The best thing about The Square is that the place is perfect for all occasions. The chef have a personalised menu with his signature along with a small box of truffles for my husband since it was his birthday.

I would happily recommend this to you. "Bijou" ambience and really great service. It was "modern" formal without being stiff. We opted for the tasting menu for £120pp which had nine courses. There is another three course option for £90. We found a good rose for £35 and there are many wines below £60-70.

Holy sweet Jesus, this place is good! It's definitely a special destination because the price didn't pull any punches but it's definitely worth it.
We got the tasting menu, something like 9 courses and every one was marvellous. We were absolutely stuffed at the end of it since the courses were a bit bigger than you might imagine so arriving after a 2 day hunger strike is a good idea....more
The hostess was very attentive and kind. When I asked to be switched to sit by the window, she immediately accommodated me.
I had to try the signature dish which was delightful as I am a big lobster and crab fan.
