In a prime location off Regent Street, Gaucho Piccadilly is an upmarket Argentinean steakhouse housed in the old wine cellars of the Mexican ambassador. The vaulted restaurant is decked out in cowhide, a knowing nod to the chunky menu full of cuts of luxury steak, including the tender Bife de Lomo, aged for six to eight weeks and then flown in from Buenos Aires. Large selection of Argentine wines, bar and late-night supper lounge.

When you go to a restaurant like this one where everything is nice and prices are not cheap, you expect a service that goes in line with it. The service we got was AS AWFUL AS CAN BE.
He had no intention of even trying. We were 7 and he got 3 plates wrong in terms of cuts of meat and 5 wrong cooking point. It was just horrible.

I have to say that is probably the only thing that is good here. Actually, I am wrong. Come here...more
I was looking for a nice place for dinner with parents who came for the weekend in London. It's definitely a great place for dinner!
The decoration is nice, trendy and really original. My mom and I, totally loved it! It looks fancy and casual at the same time. The only negative point about the atmosphere in general : the music was a bit too loud and not really great for talks.
Random choice of place - a very good find. will try at least one more time.
I was looking for BBQ and mentioned to a friend. Suggestion came in the form of Argentinian restaurant. Great choice even if for wrong reasons.
Apparently there are multiple Gauchos in London. The one I went is off Regent street and it's three story building.
The decoration is internal. ie. there are not...more
