Venue - 5 stars

Food - 3 stars

Friendly service - 4 stars

This beautiful and unique venue beneath the earth's crust is tucked away from the chaos of Leicester Square. Retreat here for a breather and sit atop old and weathered headstones, beneath the brick arches and low lighting, and have some mediocre coffee, tea, or cafeteria food. Though the food leaves much to be desired--think very very...more

Great place for lunch. Nice selection of salads and sandwiches along with some hot food items such as chicken and soup of the day. Service not super friendly and they do not accommodate if you want to order something that is different from the menu. Overall, good food and reasonably priced for London.more

Absolutely not....more

Really cool place. Tonight was about 47°F outaide so it was nice and warm.

I think this place was a crypt before. There are tomb stones in the ground and the cafeteria-style open restaurant had kind of a creepy feel. It was definitely cool!!!

We had the Christmas Dinner which consisted of: a few slices of turkey; a slice of a meat (not sure what it was) then topped with a weenie of some...more
