After reading an article on how the Brits enjoy having traditional Sunday roasts of a meat or game of some sorts, my mind was hooked on keeping with tradition today.

I can't remember the last time I had a good Sunday roast. Sundays for me now consist of curries or Thai or hungover Dominos but you can't beat a nice big roast with all the trimmings.

It's well situated, but service is lacking and the food is about average for its class while the price is above average.

Food: had the braised pork belly with whipped potatoes. The belly was unctuous and slightly herbaceous with a crunchy, chewy skin. The fish & chips were pretty standard.

My parents and I wanted a cup of coffee and a place to sit in the hustle and bustle of Borough Market, and we mistakenly took Roast for a cafe. Luckily there was a table available even though the place was packed.
