As someone who is Mexican-American, grew up in East Los Angeles and lived in Mexico, this place is spot on! We walked into this restaurant without a reservation around 6:45. There was only one man at the bar, but when we said we didn't have a reservation they acted like they were totally packed. They told us we could sit in the back but that the table was reserved at 8:00 so we would have to finish before then...okaaay. Love the food, hate the service.

It pains me to write a bad review about a restaurant I otherwise love but the way we were treated by the manager "Maxi" last night was absolutely inexcusable and needs to be shared.

Ah Crazy Homies, you be crazy.

Where we really wanted to eat was at Lucky 7 right next door, but they had a wait of about 20 minutes. They told us we could wait in their sister restaurant, Crazy Homies, next door if we wanted to. Why not?
