This is a lovely shop filled with really nice yarns, books, tools and more. I could easily spend £100s in here. The shop carries a lot of unusual yarns as well as the expected Debbie Bliss, etc. It's so refreshing to see a 'proper' yarn shop in my neighbourhood: the only thing stopping me from giving it a full 5stars is the fact that they are only open Thurs-Sat. This week I am going to quit smoking. I swear. Christmas Eve is my final day dragging fog from a cancer stick. Fortunate for my lungs, but unfortunate for my lips. I'm probably going to chomp on them like a beaver chomps through bark. It is going to be a massacre.

A tiny but worthwhile shop to visit selling haberdashery and everything to do with knitting, wools and yarns.

If you can find the shop when it is open (as I have difficulty with) then you are bound to be impressed, this is more or less the only place where you can find wool and haberdashery in the vacinity. The owner, Susan Sharp also organises the local ''stitch 'n' bitch''.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a knitting shop right on my very own doorstep. I've been knitting (and purling) since I was a child and after a few years off for teenage shenanigans got right back in to it again when I found trendier and more flattering patterns for modern ladies like myself via marvellous sites like Knitty.com (http://www.knitty.com) .
