I loved everything about my experience at the Culpeper this weekend, although this doesn't involved food, yet. Staff was helpful and professional, mostly french speaking (haha the accent doesn't lie). 2 levels and 1 rooftop that gets pretty busy once the sun is out, but Culpeper's website makes it super easy to book online (how about being able to book through Yelp guys?).

Impressive gastro pub. The food is nicely done here. I had clams and mussels for a starter, and extremely tasty it was too. I had the Ray for main. Bit of a speculative choice on my part. I am a BIG fan of this pub, it's deceivingly huge with 2 floors and a rooftop green house/terrace. The overall vibe is welcoming and typical with a slightly cooler British pub BUT not too Shoreditch cool which is good.

The place is constantly busy on the weekend but you are usually able to grab a seat. They have a great cocktail list and apparently serve a mean bloody mary! On this occasion...more
