The church is decorated with murals painted by Walter Starmer, a World War 1 artist, and was recently described in a report commissioned by Historic England as being a building of national significance and decorated with one of the most important and extensive schemes of early 20th century wall painting schemes in the country.
The Church is open by appointment and every Sunday afternoon between 12:30 & 17:00 during British Summertime and all weekend during Open House Weekend.
