Villiers is the venture from the younger scions of the Gordon family, which has been feeding and watering Londoners for decades at legendary Gordon's Wine Bar, also located on the historic street between Embankment and the Strand.

The venue features a coffee company and all-day dining room open Mon-Sat for breakfast to 5pm. Dinner service is from 6pm to 11.30pm.

I've had the eggs florentine twice and I loved it both times. Villiers is great to sit down with your laptop and a tea. Cute decor too!more

Perhaps because we went there late on a Friday afternoon. But it wasn't much fun. Overcrowded, food and drinks on the pricey side. 2 x fish and chips, one pint of lager and a glass of wine set us back 46+ GBP. Wait staff were shoehorning people into tiny tables. The d├ęcor is super cute, the drinks are strong but tasteful. The superfood salad was good and much needed after being in Paris for a few days. The fish and chips are solid. This is the makings of a great review, right? No.

Lovely atmosphere and location but unfortunately all a little down hill from there. Good choice of breakfasts but expensive and my friends boiled eggs were raw - literally not cooked. My french toast came with yoghurt on which I clearly asked for it not too. Also only got 1 small piece of french toast for 8.50. Sadly left hungry.more
