Stumbled across this place on a walk across London with a colleague. I'm hardly a connoisseur of Indian food, but I did just come back from a trip to Mumbai and found this meal right in line with what I'd had on the subcontinent. Stopped in for a solo dinner. Wait staff weren't particularly welcoming on arrival, though my server was fairly attentive to needs. Complimentary appetizer was nice, which I enjoyed while I drank Cobra (the only beer on tap). The Chicken Tikka Masala was slightly above average, and the naan was quite good. ~50mins to get orders taken and ~90mins to get served food because they prioritied over takeaway, which they could have rejected on apps.

Food was actually really fragrant and rich in flavour. Lamb shank was cooked properly, came off bone nicely. Dahl soup was also quite nice.

This is a fashionable place rather than a hole-in-the-wall curry house, with prices to match. The room is modern if a bit cramped, and it's nice that they take bookings for large groups.

Elegant and modern Indian cuisine can be hard to find at home; so it's always a treat to be in London.
