Ah, Tooting Bec Common. Me and the missus have enjoyed this open space for many years.
It is the biggest open space in Wandsworth, It is more natural looking than most commons, and has loads of amenities, that are quite hidden depending on where you are walking.
We usually like to go out at night and sit in the Common drinking wine (highly recommended) as well as the day during the summer,...more

A friend resides close to this park, and we spent some time exploring it. The garbage cans were overflowing, and the gardens were just big grassy areas it seemed. Many dead trees, rotting or on their sides. Pass under the bridge to the otherside and not much else there, though there is a child playground area.

Tooting Common is fugly. There is nothing peaceful or inviting about it. Usually I am a huge fan of green spaces in London, but this place is incredibly disappointing. It's always muddy, the grass is near dead and there are two traintracks going in opposite directions in two different areas of the common.
