Do you like watching a film without sound? No? Me neither.

While watching the wonderful Senna film, the movie moved toward it's climactic conclusion (i.e Ayrton kicking the bucket) and the sound completely shut down.

The worrying thing was that it took them so long to remedy the problem. Shocking.

Location is great because my flat is just a 10 minute walk away. The theater smelled of cleaner and the hallway outside our movie was weirdly hot, which made the smell even stronger. The bathroom was even hotter and smelled so strong of perfume-y cleaner I had to try not to breath the whole time I was in there. The smell is enough of a deterrent that I won't be back for a while. A good, solid place to see a movie. Not amazingly comfortable or unforgettable facilities, but they definitely get the job done (aside from bathroom cleaning it seems).

The monthly pass, where you pay one price to see unlimited movies, is a steal if you love to go to the movies.more

I used to work down the road from this cinema so it was very local to me. This is one of the older style cinemas that have now been replaced by the newer modern ones. I got the feel like I was back in time when I first visited here.

The prices are reflective of the city centre but you can get a cheaper ticket before 6pm for 6.60 Monday to Friday otherwise it will cost you over 9 pounds a...more
