Reasonable selection of drinks, plenty of space to dance and an ability to be open later than anywhere else in the area make this a post-midnight favourite.

The Russian Bar is pretty basic - it's essentially a long room with a bar and a few sofas. There's a dancefloor at the far end with a DJ booth and stairs down to a smaller room/dancefloor and the toilets.

Whenever I've been in the Russian Bar it's been quite late at night and it's always really busy. It's an underground bar on Kingsland Road by the canal owned by surprise surprise Russians.
It's a good place to come for a late night dance and a drink.
Friends of mine booked the space out last year for an art and music night they put on here which proved to be quite successful.more
Located few minutes far from Old Street, in the middle of Shoreditch, along the Kingsland Road, this underground bar and club is split in 2 levels: upstairs there is a bar where they serve normal drinks; downstairs a big space, that can host party, is the dance floor for deep house and dirty electro beats lovers.
