I just don't understand why people wants to watch bad comedy, magic shows and chinese people playing suspicious "traditional" music on panpipes (I tell you now, you sure don't see this crap in china).
It doesn't even have the ol' independent charm now that everything in the covered market itself is pretty much either crap (stalls) or chains (shop).

Yes! It is a tourist trap but what the hell! It's a tourist trap one must see in order to tick it off your list and have a bit of fun. It is much more manageable on the weekdays because once the weekend rolls in - so do every tourist on the planet by the busload! The Covent Garden Piazza, is a carnival atmosphere during the weekends. Its the busiest place I've yet to come across, and yet personal.
