This is really a lively secluded site of Richmond. It's set in a courtyard between a back street & the river. It's nit a farmer's market in the sense that there are tons of fruit & veg stalls. Set in the rather lovely Heron Square, this farmers market is held on most Saturdays from 11am until 3pm. Here you will find the usual fair of fruit and veg, choice cuts of meat and a selection for the sweeter tooth.
A few of the stalls will also make hot things for you from a bacon roll with quality bacon to the classic hog roast. You can also get tea and coffee.

Quaint, smallish affair on Saturday mornings until around 1500 in Heron Square. There are some treats here. The butchers stall at the bridge end is great and not too expensive, quality home-grown lamb and tasty sausages. The fresh bread is nice but pricey, and I really like the French guys who do ultra-posh 'ready meals' in their own little clay dishes you can take back next week. Very Richmond.more
