Went first to the Notting Hill location and was bowled over by how good the food was. The Venetian-style appetizers were delicious -- octopus, pasta, arancini -- and the drinks were delicious.

A couple of days later, we were in Sloane Square, and we realized we were walking distance to the Polpo in Duke of York Square. It was a great location with great patio seating, and the service, food,...more

Loved my meal here!

We had the spicy pork and fennel meatballs, which weren't too spicy but had great flavour. They perhaps could have used a bit more salt though. The prosciutto, smoked mozzarella, and rocket pizzette was awesome. And they managed to make a zucchini dish (a bland vegetable, in my opinion) taste absolutely delicious.

Great meal, great atmosphere, great service.more
