In the heart of the Tonsleys, you will find The East Hill buzzing with workers and locals popping out for a quick lunch break, while most evenings the pub fills up with regulars and some of the boys form the local rugby teams. Weekends entice locals, families, vivacious singletons and just about everyone in the area looking for a relaxing afternoon in this amazingly relaxed and stylish pub. There is a rustic mix of sofas, armchairs, large wooden scrubbed tables, high seats and walls covered with bookcases. The freshly prepared blackboards and black and white photos which set the scene of a homely country pub have created a firm favourite in the area. Make sure you visit on a Sunday to try the lunch and if you are still there in the evening, the quiz will keep you on your toes!
