About

In the heart of Brompton, Toto's is beloved of both locals and visitors to the area alike. Set in a typical brown bricked London building surrounded by immediately cheering plants and flowers the exterior is as welcoming as the interior where a cosy bar leads to a downstairs dining room with a warm, Italian flavour or out to a terrace just made for summer lunches up to 18:30. The menu, full of Italian delights – we’re not talking the old production line favourites but truly authentic regional cuisine – is beautifully presented and every dish garners rave reviews from diners. Leave room for tiramisu if you can help yourself.

Whilst the dated decor does this restaurant no justice, the food on the other hand is simply astounding. Pricey but worth every tasty morsel. Compliments to the chef. Fantastic wine list too.more

I used to love this place - especially the al fresco dining in summertime (there's a hidden courtyard inside). I could forget about the waiter with the horrendous B.O., because the food was always fantastic. But, then, things gradually slid downhill. I kept going back - hoping it was just an off day - but it wasn't. The last time I went, I had a mediocre Veal Milanese - which used to be one of...more
