As close as it gets to a flag-ship, Islington is the biggest Ottolenghi and a proper restaurant. As well as take-away food, we seat about 50 in the cool, sophisticated-yet-laid-back environment, mostly around communal tables (with a few small tables for two).
The restaurant, just opposite the Almeida theatre, serves hot breakfast, voted by the Observer the best in town (get the French toast or make your own toast at the table), lunch from the counter (call us around 11am, and we can email you a copy of the daily menu) and amazing hot food from the kitchen at dinner time, served to share in mezze size portions.
We take bookings for dinner but not during the day. If you want to have brunch on the weekend try to arrive early, to avoid the long queues.
