All the food at Ottolenghi is made in their kitchens, right below the shops. The Ottolenghi philosophy requires that everything is hand crafted with extreme care and attention, from basic raw ingredients. The croissants, for example, are made in the traditional French way over three days, using French flour and butter. The vegetables are delivered early in the morning from the market to be freshly prepared for the day. This branch has a dining area where you can enjoy their fantastic food.

Yes, this place is worth the hype. Beautifully decorated. Low key in morning but hard to get in at night at their fabulous communal table or a private one.
I have been here for all meals of the day. The breakfast is calm and lovely, with hearty egg/bread dishes, and sweet ones like muesli with tahini. The shakshuka is a bit oily and comes out piping hot but worth every bite.

This restaurant is so fantastic. We booked a table so we got a table for 2, though you sometimes get sat at the big communal table. It's fine but I prefer the privacy of the individual tables as you are quite close to other people on the communal one!
