So last year I ate at their stand at Borrough Market. On this visit I made sure to make it out to the physical location and it was my favorite meal I've had in London (and I seek out a good meal every time!). Unfortunately I was by myself so I couldn't order a bunch of dishes to try and share, but after much deliberation I chose but I knew I'd be content with any of them.more

Took a Gujarati friend here for dinner last night. I figured, what better way to benchmark Gujarati food than with a Gujarati foodie?

Gujarati Rasoi has a cool vibe, Dalston hipster style. The kitchen is open, and the smell of the food permeates everywhere, which is a good thing when you're inside, but beware; your clothes will need some aerating after dinner ;)

Gujarati Rasoi runs a popular food stall at Exmouth Market and London Fields and now has small restaurant in Dalston. And it's by far one of my favorites!! The entire menu is vegetarian with vegan dishes making up about 50% of the menu, but the chef is happy to make pretty much anything vegan upon request.
