If you really know great sushi, this isn't it. I agree with fellow helpers that it's
1. Mediocre and
2. A let down based on the other "rather promising reviews"
We did however feel safe eating the raw fish here, but agree that they skimp on the fish servings.

Tokiya is probably the most traditional Japanese restaurant I've been to in London so far. A lot of items on the menu and food/drink presentation are conventional. We went around 7pm on a Saturday evening but there was no one else. It was interesting that they still asked if we had a reservation and took time to decide which table we should take.

I wish my local sushi stop was a bit more adventurous but then again I have to remember where we are. London tends to be pretty simple and not as flashy as what i'm accustomed to so that is also factored in my rating.
