Came here for birthday drinks with one of my best friends. The decor of the horseshoe shaped bar is beautiful. Even though our servers took ages to bring our drinks, they were so sweet, I couldn't get upset (and I could because it was my birthday). The hype was real, its Nuno Mendes at its best with no frills. Despite his Michelin background the ambience is relaxed and there's a open kitchen to see all the busy chefs at work. Staff are a little inattentive at times but all friendly.

Hello handsome! Gorgeous brunch in a garden setting, elegant. Each area of the Firehouse is beautifully done - from the outdoor garden, semi-alfresco tall-ceilinged bar room, to the main dining room. After reading about this as the "must-see" restaurant of the moment, I knew it had to be my one big night out of fine dining. I was happy to get the reservation that I wanted, and pulling up to the restaurant in our taxi, it definitely felt like I had arrived at someplace special.
