Enjoyed Browns Brasserie and Bar for drinks and bar food with colleagues

They accommodated our group of 12 with a reservation on a busy Thursday evening.

Friendly servers. Fair prices.

This place gets seriously busy in the evening - even early week - which is why they get 3* from me. Service slows right up and it all gets a bit cramped.

The decor inside this place though is nice and they serve all your typical drinks at reasonable prices. Good for a few drinks with colleagues before heading for dinner!more

I've been to a few of the restaurants in the Browns chain. Yet this one in the city has to be my favourite. Why? Because of the setting, location and interior. It's just off the main road down a quiet street. But a huge restaurant with good service albeit a bit slow but they get it right so you will be satisfied. Been there in large groups and as a couple.more

Lunchtime Browns

Nice, fairly relaxed but buzzing place to get a pretty good burger and lots of salad/sandwich options. (They also serve pies, fish & chips, steaks and pasta). The service is friendly and warm,...more
