Kingsland shopping centre needs a good refurbishment because at the moment it is grim rundown with rubbish shops eg matalan and market stall which make crammed and lot of the retail units in the shopping centre is small which is not good and the shopping centre is not welcoming eg no benches, parking price is so expensive not wroth the price.hardly famous retail brands in the...more

Unfortunately most of the shops were closed at the time when I walked in and I didn't really have money to go shopping... But it looked great! Loads of shoes, loads of clothes and some supermarkets, all you need really.

I hope I'll have the chance to come back and buy all the cool stuff here!more

Dalston may be experiencing a coolness epidemic amongst it's bars, cafe's and clubs but this has not yet spread to it's shopping centre.

First of all, car parking. Now and again, despite living 10 mins away, I drive here to do a big shop. There is a large car park with plenty of spaces and it's free when you spend £10 or more in Sainsbos. Now beware, if you get the ticket validated in-store...more

When I find myself teaching in Hackney (which is often of late) I often pop into this shopping centre after work for a little peek around the Dorothy Perkins and the Matalan. I likes me some affordable fashion. It's an odd mix, this place. Nicer shops like DP/Burton and a big Sainsbury's and such paired with bizarre stalls of cheap underwear and a smelly donut kiosk. I LOVE this shopping Centre; it's busy, bustling and brimming with all the treats you could want.

One of the best things about the shopping centre is the Sainsbury's; it's the best and cheapest supermarket mega-store in the area, and has the largest selection of Quorn and vegetarian foods in the area (aside from specialist shops).
