What can I say. I went to Browns for dinner, and was disappointed. So I came back to have my Apple crumble and custard. One word...Amazing!!!more

Went here for afternoon tea. Very pleasant atmosphere. Please note that this review is for the G&Team part of the venue.

I found this place by looking for afternoon tea in London in the posh Canary Wharf area. I made an online reservation, and arrived several hours early - planes don't seem to have their schedules set to afternoon tea.

I don't ever go to the Canary Wharf area so it was a bit of a trek to get there, but a nice walk from the riverboat stop. The restaurant is actually in the Marriott hotel - I was dubious but willing to give it a go.

I was quite impressed with the attention we got as soon as we came through the door. The manager spotted us, quite far away from the occupied tables, and he strided over to give us a good welcome. We were taken to a nice table for two and given menus without fuss.

We came here on a whim after the movie after nearby. We have been eyeing this place for some good American meal.
