I kinda wish I didn't know this place had a Michelin star because I think I must have judged it differently. Trishna is a very nice Indian restaurant, good food decent service but it's really nowhere near the quality of a Michelin star restaurant. The service especially fell short (they didn't even offer to take my girlfriend's coat) but also the plates, glasses etc were pretty humble....more
Very few Indian restaurants really impress me. Thrishna absolutely blew me away. I think it has been long since I've experienced such class and quality in an Indian restaurant.
We were given some sort of crackalacking thingies as an pre-appetizer, together with some nice spicy sauces. As a starter I got the samosa. The ones I sometimes take in Amsterdam are way smaller and less tastier....more
